TSL & Hardware - FAILURE ---> SOLVED (2bujo)

Good news.

I'd prefer TSL policy (and indeed use TSL whenever possible).
Just needed services, and almost none active by default.
I name TSL the "OpenBSD" of linux distros.

But sometimes circumstances force me to use a more common distro,
and I'd prefer CentOS, due to its "RHELish" nature (and my RedHat
Backgorund).

Hi Cristian
good news...i've solved the problem.
I "RTFM" and check the dat, all jumpers were right, the scsi terminator
was right...scsi id usually is 6...
umhh...start again, check adaptec scsi bios (ctrl+a to start scsi
utility)...watching around parameters i found a channel ID 7 !!!!!! FOUND !
change to 6 save & reboot... DAT recognized...(more that one exactly...one
for each channel)...also CentOS found my dat, i did some test with mt and it
works nice.
Umh...the only trouble is that i've not an home partition on the LVM...may
be usefull to install again or not ?
Also, probably i've to use: pci=noacpi because it cause me "kernel
disabling irq # xxx" (xxx is one of the irq assigned to uhci_hcd, usb, but i
think related to acpi also).
I'm testing centos...not so bad...but i think there are too much services
at start up (bluetooth on a server ?)
I don't like much red hat GPO, i prefer TSL policy, every new user add is
member of users group !!!
Ok...i think i can use this server...more or less now i've solved every
problem...
Cristian, thank you very much for your suggest and patience,
Buena suerte
